A Personal Tao is a collection of teachings. An important part of my practice includes Patterning. This testimonial is in regards to Casey's practice concerning helping a person find Direction, Peace, Pattern Reading and Divination.

Opening the path of the heart.

The card reading I had from Casey rippled through my soul profoundly. The images in his deck are provocative and diverse. At first, the request that I draw cards for “where I am now” and “where I’m going” seemed daunting. The deck is quite large…so many choices…..but about half way through the pile a card called to me as “now” and very quickly was followed with ease by the perfect card for the second. Casey’s explanations of the cards drawn as possible pathways from here to there brought up instant reactions in me, and not very pleasant ones. They seemed hardly the pathways I would desire. The supporting cards gave more clues though, and led Casey to question me in ways that revealed deeply held beliefs and feelings, ones not apparent on the surface, not things I readily show the world. These revelations called me to embrace aspects of myself that needed more integration.

The reading took place in a rather hectic setting at the entrance to a social gathering I was hosting. This may seem to be a hindrance but I think Casey used it as an advantage taking clues from the flow of energies as they emerged. He has a deeply insightful way of looking for connections in seemingly disconnected elements. My own distractions in the moment caused me to flip cards curiously; many cards in the deck have images on both sides. This prompted Casey to call me on my real choice here: I can hold my intentions and move in the ways that I desire or I could play around and just do tricks. This really shook me up and the reading surfaced in my consciousness repeatedly over the next few days until the pieces all fit together in an ah-ha moment which still rings like a bell in my heart months later.
