The special limited hand bounded edition of the book are hand crafted including pastel art, vinyl record covers and additional materials not found in the online editions. These books are sold as individual works of art. Prices start at 750.00 per copy and vary depending on the customization within each work of art.
The art editions are spiral bounded as I prefer the way the pages freely move around over other binding methods. I use a combination of copper, bronze and brass wires entwined together to form the spine.

My personal copy. Each Personal Tao art edition copy layers change from the cover and through out the book. One book might have illuminated graphics drawn in the side margins or another copy could have paper cuttings weaved about the pages. The only rule: I am not allowed to throw away flaws, the material itself helps define the art. So if a record cover snaps strangely, then the art must flow to the record breaking. It's enjoyable seeing how each copy becomes unique during the crafting process. A mixture of myself, the patron and random chance of how material behaves determines each book's final form. |
