We have been busy over here at the site. I have updated and added several dozen new pages. So have fun and explore.
The site is maturing and it's amazing to see how many people have come on by. Over
200,000 visitors in the last year alone and more than 10,000 copies of the book
downloaded.
The Personal Tao Retreat has also been growing wonderfully. It's a amazing experience just to help people connect to their spirit.
Over the years as I have been writing A Personal Tao, I have also been keeping a small little book with notes and tips on how to teach, learn and embrace Taoism.
I realized in another year or two I will take that little book and write a second Personal Tao
book from the collection of notes. However, that's for the future, right now ,
its just about the now.
Thats the news for now: Julie, Mina and I are always working towards improving
our Taoist Temple and teaching practices. It's never about numbers. It's about the
one on one, making a difference in a smile each day. What's amazing, is working
day by day making a difference for those you come to know and love... Then you look
back and see, how large a difference a single person can make. This is the secret
of heart that Taoism teaches about.
I thank everyone for stopping by and chatting with us. I look forward to continuing
to get to know everyone as they stop on by to say hi.
Thanks and I wish everyone peace in their journey.
Sincerely
Casey
Happy New Year to everyone.
I added an article about Mid Life Crisis and Taoism.
Unlike last year when I was time traveling about,
this year is about being quiet
and witnessing change.
2008 is a powerful year, a year of many changes. It's possible to embrace all the energy of everything changing and redirect it towards your own life to become something new.
Of course if you are happy as you are, then it's also a good time to sit back and watch.
No matter how you view the up coming year. It's a powerful time we are entering:
for both good and bad. In that good and bad are what we make them to be, it's up to us how the year will be defined in retrospect. Of course if you are a Taoist , then the answer to all of this is simply:
to be...
Just be yourself.
